Workshops
& Speaking

Useful learning for organizations and communities. Insight is the starting point; practice is where we put it to work.

Learning for real situations

What I love most about workshops and facilitating is the moment something clicks—when someone finds language for an experience they’ve carried, sees a familiar pattern differently, or realizes they aren’t the only one. I love creating spaces where people can be honest, curious, and engaged without feeling like they have to perform or have the right answer. Whether I’m working with a small group, a conference audience, or a leadership team, I want people to leave with something they can use: a clearer question, a different way to respond, or the courage to have a conversation they’ve been avoiding.

My style brings together compassion, curiosity, and accountability, with storytelling, humor, and room for the unexpected. I’m drawn to topics like clear and kind communication, boundaries, relationships, trauma-informed practice, and the patterns that shape how we show up with ourselves and each other. I use reflection, guided conversation, shared examples, and activities that give people a chance to practice—not just hear about—something different. Insight is useful. I love helping people take the next step and make it their own

Lived Experience Receipts

Facilitating psychoeducation and support groups was the beginning. I was then invited to represent my agency at a conference, and found how my favorite intervention—groups—had prepared me for presenting. The rest of my experiences were self-pursued and not as part of my employment. My love for facilitating adult learning through storytelling and psychoeducation is my purpose, and I welcome any questions or exploration of collaborations or consulting.

Pricing & scope

Areas for collaboration include emotional regulation; compassion and accountability; communication, conflict, and repair; boundaries, requests, and control; and moving from intellectual understanding to practiced skills. I also bring experience in trauma-informed learning, behavior change, and supporting people affected by incarceration.

A 45–60-minute virtual talk starts at $1,500. An in-person talk is $2,000–$2,500. Fees include an agreed Q&A period and the planning and review process below. Travel is quoted separately.

What every custom engagement includes

  • An initial 30-minute planning call to understand your topic needs, goals, audience, and the challenges your population is currently experiencing.

  • Collaborative communication throughout preparation, with one designated organizational contact.

  • A bullet-point content overview identifying the proposed topics, intended learning outcomes, and activities or audience interaction.

  • A pre-event deck review to confirm that targeted and requested coverage is included.

  • One consolidated revision round within the agreed scope.

  • Live delivery, including discussion, practice, or Q&A appropriate to the format.

Planning and review

We begin with an outline early in the process. The review deck is shared approximately 7–10 business days before the event, with consolidated feedback due at least five business days before delivery. Major topic changes or additional development require an agreed adjustment to the quote.

Group size, materials, and additional costs

Workshop rates are based on up to 30 participants for interactive practice. Larger groups are quoted according to the format and support needed. Digital participant materials are included. Travel, lodging, printing, recording rights, and additional sessions are agreed separately.
